Terms of Use

The terms on which you may use Artycards.

Last updated 19 July 2026

Who we are

Artycards is a service run by [TRADER NAME], a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL], by post at [CONTACT ADDRESS], or via the contact page.

Using Artycards

By using the site you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or over to create an account or buy a card. Use Artycards lawfully and don't misuse it or interfere with others' use.

Your account

You're responsible for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in secure and give accurate information.

Cards and content

You're responsible for the content you add to cards. Anyone with a card's link can view and sign it, so only share links with people you trust. Don't post unlawful, hateful or infringing content.

Buying and sending cards

The price is shown at checkout before you pay. Prices are the total you pay, inclusive of any applicable VAT. A finished card is delivered as an e-card by email to your recipient (and available to you via a share link) as soon as your payment is confirmed.

Your right to cancel, and refunds

A finished card is digital content delivered as soon as you pay. By paying, you ask us to deliver it straight away and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel once delivery has begun. This doesn't affect your legal rights if something is wrong: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a card must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose — and if it isn't, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. If a card didn't send properly or isn't right, contact us and we'll put it right.

Artists and artwork

Artists keep ownership of their work and grant Artycards a licence to display it, watermark it, and reproduce it on cards made by users. Only upload work you own or have the right to sell; you agree to cover us for any claims arising from work you didn't have the right to upload. Artists are responsible for their own tax and for declaring what they earn. We may remove artwork that breaks these terms or is the subject of a complaint.

Payments to artists

Artists keep 80% of each card their work is used on; Artycards keeps 20%. Earnings are paid in GBP at the end of each month once your balance passes £50; smaller balances roll over to the next month. If you'd like to leave before reaching £50, contact us and we'll arrange a one-off payout. If a buyer is refunded, the artist's share for that card is reversed.

Reporting content

If you believe a card message or a piece of artwork infringes your rights or breaks these terms, contact us with the details and a link. We'll review it and remove anything that shouldn't be there.

Availability & liability

We work to keep Artycards running, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Subject to that, we're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable or that weren't caused by us breaking these terms.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; we'll post material changes here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and if you're a consumer you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the country you live in.
